Blogpost: QualiWare and the Magic Quadrant™
By Daniel Zorzi, Enterprise Architecture Analyst @QualiWare
I am thrilled by the exciting news that QualiWare has once again been recognized as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant 2024 for Enterprise Architecture (EA) tools. Being recognized as a Leader is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the QualiWare team, as well as the innovative solutions we provide to our clients.
Over the past year, QualiWare has made significant strides in both the Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute, propelling us even further up the Leaders Quadrant. This progress is a reflection of our commitment to innovation in AI, continuous improvements in functionality and UI and our focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers from different industry verticals around the world.
Key Strengths highlighted by Gartner
Gartner’s Magic Quadrant highlights several areas in which QualiWare carry strengths in the EA tool marketplace.
Ontology and Knowledge Management
QualiWare’s ontological foundation have shaped the whole product architecture, where advanced ontology and knowledge management allows support to control knowledge sharing across a true federated architecture. This includes how knowledge is shared or not with an AI service and extends into the improved efficiency of data interoperability and discovery across the product's repository.
Extensive support for Industry Verticals
Other areas where QualiWare’s strengths are recognized is the ability to support different industry verticals and Sustainability. It has been a priority for QualiWare to create workspaces and functionality for heavily regulated industries and to include standards that are industry relevant.
This includes DORA, NIS2, CSRD, Industry 4.0, APQC and more. It is a core philosophy of QualiWare that multiple areas of an organization should be empowered to contribute with local knowledge that creates more trustworthy and coherent information sharing across the EA repository and organization. My experience tells me that this ensures that the EA tool is not only for sharing information about classic EA such as data modeling and Application Management. Rather, as modern EA touches on several areas of the business, it becomes relevant to structure different verticals and business areas in the repository. At QualiWare we accomplish this by extensive research into emerging technology trends, regulations and industry verticals and ensures that these considerations are all reflected in the product and recognized by our customers.
Consistent Growth in Innovation
Lastly, Gartner once again mentions QualiWare’s consistent growth in innovation. This is highlighted by features such as early investments in AI, that predated the recent GenAI boom. The AI functionality in the product has grown to include AI-supported PowerPoint presentation generator and diagram explanations, AI import, and AI populating of object metadata. Other innovative solutions highlighted includes augmented reality, 2D and 3D visualizations and Enterprise Design (EDGY) language support.
Commitment to knowledge sharing, innovation, and customer success
QualiWare's recognition as a Leader in the Gartner Magic Quadrant 2024 for Enterprise Architecture tools is a significant milestone for our company upholding our position as a pioneer in the marketplace. It reflects our determined commitment to knowledge sharing, innovation, and customer success. We are proud of the progress we have made and are excited about the future as we continue to empower organizations with the tool and functionality, they need to achieve their regulatory and strategic objectives.
